The Experience: On the fifth floor of the Martell Tower, enjoy a 180° view of Cognac and the Charente region. Signature cocktails crafted by Rémy Savage (Master Mixologist, named Europe’s Best Mixologist in 2018), all made with Martell cognac. The menu blends boldness and sophistication, featuring local appetizers. A space to lie back and gaze at the stars completes the picture. It’s here, seen from above, that the city truly comes into its own.

Chais Monnet Hotel & Spa
The Experience: Perched above the former cellars of Maison Monnet—a site listed as part of France’s industrial heritage—this rooftop combines a festive atmosphere with a panoramic view of Cognac. Signature cocktails, tapas, and a pétanque court on the terrace. All summer long, Mr. Ron, a Parisian resident DJ and music curator, sets the tone for the evenings with his elegant and eclectic sets. Nestled in the courtyard of the Château de Cognac—a historic monument and the birthplace of King Francis I—Le Lys features a terrace overlooking the Charente River, offering the city’s most beautiful sunsets. Exclusive cocktails made with Baron Otard and D’Ussé cognacs, crafted by mixologist Julien Escot, are paired with carefully curated culinary pairings. Themed musical evenings enliven the lineup.
